"The Night Before" is a short film written by James Cole, based on his real-life experience with exstrophy is now available on DVD for purchase.

"Danny Cole has spent much of his life in hospitals. Facing yet another surgery, he relishes scaring his roommates Mike and young Martin with the horrors of what awaits them. Yet this veteran hides his own fears, and before morning Martin will help Danny learn to trust and find surprising strength."

The Night Before is an inspiring tale of how human compassion can conquer childhood fears. Directed by Jay Holben, the film has been shown at both the ABC and HEA Conferences, and most recently won the Audience Award for Best Dramatic Short at the Valley Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.
