Our Faces of BE book, a photo book showcasing individuals with exstrophy from around the world, is now available for purchase!
In 2018, on a trip to Uganda to serve children and families with exstrophy, Executive Director Pamela (Block) Artigas, realized that many of the children she met had never seen another person with exstrophy. Many of them had been isolated from the rest of the world their entire lives, and had no access to resources to connect with others like themselves.
Thus, the idea for a picture book started to take shape. We thought it would be a wonderful resource to take around the world to help show individuals with exstrophy that there are others just like them.
Thank you to everyone who contributed — we had an overwhelming response allowing us to create a beautiful resource to share around the world. This book is a perfect example of how our wonderful community of exstrophy families can come together to create something extraordinary.
